The Tiktok cape is a bit different from the twitch one, it has to be done on the phone (from my experience anyway) and you need to follow an eligible creator that is in the same region as you, then instead of watching for 15min, you need to type "minecraft" in the chat, for some it's watch for 3min.

For the Twitch cape: It will apparently only be available to use on July 8th. However, as shown in the video, the code needs to be claimed before the 30th of June.

Happy 15 years! This game has created an amazing community on KZbin. The hermitcraft crew, Dataless822, Technoblade. I started in 2012 i think, but that's even an insane amount of time.

@@EmperorPenguin1217 I just did the bare minimum... I downloaded Tiktok, made an account, got the cape (after much frustration) and then immediately uninstalled it. It was really annoying, because you NEED to install the app and do it on mobile. They won't let you just do it in a browser on PC, it has to be mobile. 😓

I don't use TikTok but I made an account for the cape and I didn't have to really watch long I literally clicked the first Live video I saw and then commented Minecraft and got the code immediately, and then I just deleted the account once I got the Cape

Do a dummy account with some throw away email, thats what i did and then deleted the app, all the info i inserted was fake, bday, name, location, etc, i also used a vpn and local proxy tracker blockers like adguard, then delete the account and uninstall tiktok

I feel like they should make a new piston varient. Silent pistons. (Sticky and nonsticky) Basically, normal pistons have their og sound, but a silent piston (piston in center of crafting grid, surrounded by 2-4 wool) would have the new sound.

Just want to clarify that the realms collaboration map is actually free to download from the article. It wasn’t at first but they updated it shortly after posting. There is a ton to do and explore, and it was a joy to work on it. We had only a little over a month to work on it, but I think I can say for all of us that we are super proud of the final product. I hope you do take a little time to explore it, even if it’s just flying around in creative.

If you have a VPN and are in the US you can switch your location to the UK and it should let you claim it. It just worked for me!

Hey, I have a question about the capes. I was on a call with my friend, and I was watching twitch to get the code. I got the code but when I redeemed it and went to my cape inventory it didn't show up. It also said I already had it when I got the cape again by making a new account on twitch and getting another code. My friend also got a twitch code and went to redeem it, but it didn't pop up in his cape inventory either. Next, we tried the TikTok cape. I couldn't even make a TikTok account because it says, "Can't open this page try again later." My friend was able to create a TikTok account and watched for an hour, and still didn't receive it. If you know anything about why this is happening, please reply.

Both the capes will only show up on bedrock edition for now. They will roll out in java edition in the coming weeks. The tiktok cape can only be obtained using the app unfortunately

My only motivation for getting the capes is further skin combinations on java. I like making skins for free, and the capes just give an additional bit of material for me to work around. Got the twitch one (I like purple), caved in to get the tiktok one, though it may be to late for me by now. All this social media stuff is too much for me and overwhelming, so as soon as the event is over, Im deleting these apps asap.

I made a TikTok account just to get the cape (after I got it I deleted my account and uninstalled the app) and the whole time I was watching the stream there was this repeated piano sound that nobody else seemed to be able to hear and it was driving me crazy. That's MARILLA playing the classic version! 🎉 I'm hoping we get one, big interesting thing, like a new feature or block that changes the game in a fresh feeling way. Or maybe even the reveal of a new dimension. They've sorrta been teasing the idea these last few April Fools updates.
