Detecting is a good way for someone to get outside and get a little sun (or night moon!) and maybe find a few old coins, some cool relics from bygone times, and even some silver coins and gold jewelry. The fact that it's just plain fun even when you're not finding anything good does a lot to help you along.

Awesome video as always! Remember guys, don't always rely on your screen with this machine, it could be a piece of gold with iron in it, in which you'll get a heavy iron signal sometimes and it can be misleading!

Just a heads up I’ve had all iron signals turn to gold after getting down to the target with the monster depending on soil and moisture conditions. Also if anyone uses the monster with the coil under water remove the protective cover first to prevent false signals from it filling with water great day and finds on the creek thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏻👊🏻 P.S. nice placement and chasing of the fish to get him on camera👌🏼

I have used the Gold Bug 2 Fisher for yrs with success, however the new gold monster 1000 is much easier to tune and work with overall, I recently bought one for myself and very satisfied.

Man I can't wait until my gold monster shows up. I ordered one yesterday and I am excited!! I bought the vanquish 540 last month and it found gold one time. The problem is that it doesn't show if it is really gold or not that I am finding so I have found tons of metal scrap. I will use the gold monster all the time now and will be saving up for the gpx5000. I don't care much for the gpz7000 so once I get the gpx5000 I will have all the metal detectors I will need! Thanks for the video and added excitement while I wait!

I once borrowed a metal detector from a friend. Unfortunately, I chose to metal detect in an area that had very high deposits of iron ore. So, of course the metal detector was giving signals left and right and center and above and beyond. I did manage however to find an old horseshoe. Good for me!

Dan, it's neat to FIANLLY see a metal detector that can locate smaller pieces, like the ones you found in the video! All the detectors I've seen prior to this wouldn't set off for pieces as small as the ones you found. In the area I reside in, that's IMPORTANT to me, as we find small gold here!
