... finally somebody did a "real" depth test...in ground with real gold. thank you for the test. this really helps me decide to save for the gpz or a european unit. thumbs up for your video.👍 😎

My experience is that general is used for larger nuggets. What was missing was changing the difficult ground type to normal in high yield. This makes a huge difference to the depth that you can detect but also highlights more ground noise as well.please redo this using the normal ground type setting for a complete assessment of the GPZ7000

I would have really have liked to have seen the depth increase with their new big I think 12" coil at those 400-450 depths??

How about changing to that extra big coil that has come out for this machine??

I enjoy the research and tests on the machine. I have this machine and find the video very helpful. Would general work better on bigger targets? The high yield really works better on the gram gold, and from my end watching the video picks up the deeper targets. I’m wondering what a 8 gram piece would prevail. Because the one gram is better in high yield all day. Thanks for sharing

Just wondering if the 19 inch coil would fetch better results? I'm actually unsure, however if somebody can advise it would be much appreciated as l am only new at the detecting game.

Good test. It’s definitely a compromise. Do you swing faster, cover more ground and pick up the brighter targets or swing slow, dig ground noise and maybe score the odd deep nuggets. What’s right. 😉 I have won in both scenario’s. Or maybe lost in both scenarios.

Extra Deep is really only for 19in Coil - Were you in Normal or Difficult and no Audio Smoothing either - drop sensitivity to 9 or less and also try flat out and Zero threshhold - you might be amazed as the 7K is a Beast especially with new NF 12 Coil

Depend on the size of the target. The bigger the target the deeper you will detect it.

Yeah...he showed that. It looks like the detector was able to detect a 1 gram gold bar at top depth of 15'' inches under ground.👍 😎

With your test you must realize you have buried your targets & disturbed the ground which could give a false reading due to the soil coposition being altered.

How long can this machine go as in depth
@smelmybut2 жыл бұрын
He showed that... It tops out at about 15 inches on a 1 gram gold bar. So if you are detecting over an ounce it will definitely sound off. My guess ... It can probably detect an oz of gold at 25 inches or just over 2 feet.👍 😎
