This is my entry to Kitbash mission Minerva In-Motion Awards challenge.
The idea was to fully utilize all tools which Twinmotion has to create a short action packed trailer where main actor (spaceship) is traveling throu different parts of the planet and finally reaching the neo-city.
Twinmotion was used to animate all sequences - everything is fully 3D - with heavy use of translators and rotators as well as custom paths - without camera paths it was quite a challenge to get everything in right spot. For titles, camera shake and composing used Davinci Resolve Studio. Artlist website for music and sound effects. Everything was rendered in 4K 25 fps with PT.
Assets are obviously from Kitbash Mission Minerva set, as well as Quixel for terrain assets + couple Sketchfab models (mostly neons + small police drone).
RTX 3090, 64 GB Ram, Ryzen 5900X

Great job.

Bro, in the last scene, the left wall is taken from quxel? And another question on the right side and the wires on the left, is this from the kitbash kit? If yes, from what? Thank you in advance for your answer, I liked the final scene very much

Yes the wall on the left is made using quixel assets. Pipes/cables are from artstation and self modeled.

Awesome video! How do you relink the textures in twinmotion?! I imported the .FBX files into TM and they’re all white. Any suggestions?
@pawelrymsza
@pawelrymsza Жыл бұрын
well you select the texture and check if maps are present. if not you just pick them one by one. Sometimes there is bug that textures are linked but they don't show up - only thing you have to do is to change for example reflection map by 1% and they show up.

There are multiple scenes so its not like 1 scene to explain. In general its worth to check official twinmotion channel for tutorial about cyberpunk car chase - its similar technique here based on multiple rotators + translators.

wow nice stuff, small critique the music doesnt fit the futuristic-cyberpunk theme

noted ;) the idea behind this music was to match the fast paced action with spaceship speeding up. Having slow music would only fit if someone would be talking, otherwise would just look wierd.

Wow absolutely incredible work. I have been working on a car project and getting all the motions to work with the tools in twinmotion has been very hard. This is truly inspiring, espesially the camera movements look good, I would love to see a tutorial on that if you have the time.

yes its a struggle. i recommend you go to official Twinmotion channel and look for video called: Making Of the Sci-fi Animation in Twinmotion 2022. This should give you a good clue how some of the camera path is created here.
