The Sydney dress gets so many compliments when I wear it in linen. But the pockets are inset on the seams at the front and it spoils the drape. I inset on the side seams and it makes such a big difference. A small issue with video. I have a problem with some sounds and the crackling of the cellophane on some patterns is troublesome to me. Sounds ridiculous when I write it down. Interested to know if anyone else felt this?

I am obviously not fitting with the trends. The only ones of these patterns that I would consider are the Harriet jacket and the Wardrobe by me t-shirt. I find everything else is so drab, oversized, and boxy.

I agree with you. So many patterns (not just Minerva) are loose and shapeless. I am petite and these styles would swamp me and not look good. They are ok for tall slim people, if that is their style, just not for me.
