German blue rams, neon or cardinal tetras, and some Cory cats on the bottom. If you're wanting a community tank.

I cam only imagine how much it would cost $$$ to build these tanks out of pocket. I've seen those trees go for some serious $$$ on some sites. Absolutely love this style tank though.. You get a standing ovation from me for every video in the series..

Favorite scape yet. Can't wait to see the finished product! Stock suggestions? Bright (orange?!) guppies, ones that have patterns similar to the safari feel I'm getting. Or a betta sorority 😍

Never was a fan of Diorama type scape.... but this scape of urs is really kooolllllll.... liked it a lot.... keep it going
@boges113 жыл бұрын
Looks really good. Yes you need the 2 paths otherwise there's too much brown with the wood, rocks and substrate. IMO the main path also needs to curve and trail off behind the hardscape so it looks more natural and is going off somewhere, not just straight. That orange does look the best as it looks like a sunrise. Does the app let you mimic the colours of sunrise, blue day, sunset? That would be awesome.

A trick on the lighting: If you're able to alter the color on the top light to just a slightly warmer hue, it will look dimmer to your eyes as well as not competing with the back light, however it will still be bright to the plants and they'll grow well. If you can't alter the color, I wonder if it's possible to get a lightly tinted sheet of plastic to cover the light with so you can keep the brightness up.

It’s a very cool scape and might have to steal that idea haha! I might even glue Monte Carlo to my scape with spider wood and see how that goes! Maybe big school of green neons? Or black neons. Or glass catfish? 🤔

You should a set up a lost word scape where you put dragon stone out of the water and put like a sword in the top of dragon stone or the most natural and try make it look like woods kinda like from merlin

Mike, tank looks great, can you please provide the link of where you got the mini hot houses that you are using to keep all your potted plants? Thank you
I really like this :) I think i even like it more than the original one. Really cool. For the original i suggested Pentazona Barbs and i still think they would be cool in this. Going through and in between the trees all the time. Together with amano shrimps and kuhli loaches.

I love it. What do people use as stands? I have a rimless but it’s small. I can’t find a stand anywhere that’s not complete garbage or wobbles. I live in an old loft and floors are old hardwood so it’s hard. Where do you all get stands or what do you use?

I'm think an Oscar, and a few piranha. That should liven things up and the skeletons will solidify the "ancient" part of the name.... Lol just kidding. If it were me, I'd have a pair of apistogramma (maybe agassizii double red, dependingon your water), and a school of black neon tetras.

>"What should we put in the tank?" Ghost/Glass Catfish and Bamboo Shrimp if you want something outside the common. Cherry Shrimp if you want lots of color. Tiger Barbs if you want some schoolers. Gobies or Loaches for some bottom feeding. Options are many and space is limited.

The same mistake again you overload the tank making things harder for you and will fail as the ancient garden tank and is because you really don't know how to balance a tank
