Today there is a little art haul planned and after that I will try out one of these supplies, because I can't wait.... The Caran D'ache NEOCOLOR II .. I love them so much! I filled a double page in my sketchbook with them. They will be perfect for mixed media artworks and already by themselves they are .. just beautiful.. ❤️

I love the look of your art with the Caran D'ache Neocolors! I'm biting the bullet for my bday in November and will get the set of 30, plus a few extra open stock so I can have a nice, balanced range. My weakness is water soluble media- I already have a lot of the Derwent Inktense colors, the full range of Derwent Watercolor pencils, a heck ton of gouache and watercolors too. Water soluble medium is so fun. It's kind of like being a scientist- playing around with things to figure out how it works, and to see what you can make from it.

the neocolour IIs are great for backgrounds or as a first layer of colour when using coloured pencils and the colours are so nice 😀

I love the Neocolor IIs. I also have a set of the Neocolor Is that are water-resistant. There's also a color swatch chart inside the paper sleeve that comes on the tin. Caran D'Ache does that with all their products. 😊

I love the neo II's and if you haven't tried marabu art crayons, you should. I like using them for backgrounds. The neo's seem to just dissolve so well. Thanks for sharing your art haul. Love your illustration!!

What's the difference between Hahnemühle Harmony and Hahnemühle Britannia ??

I bought the Harmony cold pressed and the Britannia hot pressed.. That’s a difference in the surface.. If you want to know the general difference between these two paper lines, you could watch my paper test video or I can answer that question when I’m back home from my holiday vacation 😊 Thank you for watching! ✨

Wie kommst du auf die Illustrationen, die du dir selbst überlegst? Ich würde auch gerne eigene Bilder entwerfen, aber mir fehlt da wohl das Talent zu? Malen kann ich, aber ich muss halt ein Bild zur Vorlage haben und daraus kann ich auch keine eigene Kreation herstellen. Ich wäre für Tipps sehr dankbar. Liebe Grüße und ps. Vielen Dank, ich freue mich, dass Du meine Videos magst 😊✨ In der Regel ist nach Vorlagen arbeiten der erste Schritt. Je mehr man dann gemalt hat desto mehr eigene Bildideen können dann entstehen. Dir fehlt da sicher nicht das Talent! Ich würde Dir raten einfach dran zu bleiben. Dinge abzumalen, vielleicht auch direkt was so auf deinem Tisch steht. Ich kombiniere das dann oft mit etwas was ich gerne mag, z.B Formen wie Kreise die werden dann zu Blasen. etc... mach Dir weniger Druck. Hab einfach Spaß! Manchmal fällt mir auch nichts ein, dann gucke ich lange Bilder auf Pinterest oder so bis ich dann manchmal auch verschiedene Dinge die ich sehe miteinander kombiniere. Oder ich überlege mir eine kleine Geschichte und male wie es aussehen könnte.. Oft fange ich auch nur wild mit Farben an, die ich gerade schön finde und dann kommen mir Ideen oder ich fahre Formen in den Farben auf dem Papier nach. Ich hoffe das hat etwas geholfen! ❤️
