Take the time to jet those bikes properly, makes all the difference in the world! Look into adjustable jets for the stock carbs. Cost a few bucks, but sure are nice for changing conditions. GPS should carry them if they don’t!

I once rode a GSX-R 1000 that had like two teeth off the front sprocket and plus four on the rear, that thing was vertical more often than a flagpole. It's amazing what gearing can do, I imagine Ike would have completely disappeared if he had the same sprocket. Cheers fellas.

Ike "It's a 4L60" ROFL I think John said it best with "It's a good time to be into minibikes". The Gas charged shocks must be a huge improvement over the standard coil-overs with little more than rubber to dampen the spring oscillation. Looks like lots of fun!

Your 3 KX 80's would kick the crap out of all these mini bikes in every category. Suspension, gearing, power, handling, ergonomics, mileage, speed, safety, ground clearance, traction, brakes, reliability, looks, and overall enjoyment. Minibikes are great when you're new at off roading, or a little kid, but eventually, you grow out of them (well, most do).

@@TCGplayroom These guys like the lawn mower technology and kind of center the channel around that... I suggested many years back of doing an electric cart and they responded "Did that already" I guess in one of the first videos they used a car battery and an old car starter motor and decided it was just too weak ... i really meant something more along the lines of a Prius motor and some modern Li batteries

@@toyyoda3710 A long time ago, when these guys were first starting out, they were fumbling with many mistakes that were borderline dangerous for them. Being a welder/fabricator and retired pro ATV racer myself, I tried giving them several suggestions. You know what their response was? (Yeah, they used to respond to people) It was "It'll be fine". My last suggestion to these guys was "Stop wearing that visorless open face helmet. It doesn't protect your face and you look like goons with it." They went out and bought a full closed face helmet, then took the visor off. SMH...and that fishnet chest protector with built in armpads...OMG. Can you believe John actually tried that on, looked in the mirror and said "Oh yeah! I look sweet. We'll take this." Salesman: "Will there be anything else? Boots, jersey, riding pants (leathers), goggles?" John: "Nah, we got some really cool colored sunglasses from a Happy Meal. But I'll take a pair of those snow ski gloves and 1 of those "Oh-Shit Neck Protectors", if you throw in a pair of those big ass kneepads."

I also removed my fenders and the makes it even faster because less drag! Enjoy you just got yourself a great reliable off road tested 👏🏽💪🏽🔥

You guys should get Lectron carburettors. Its like having fuel injection. They also self tune for elevation and hot and cold weather. You save crazy amounts on gas and you'll never foil a plug. I've been using the same plug for 2 years now and before i would foul plugs almost every ride . Always had to hit powerband to keep plugs from fouling and now I can drive my 2 stroke ktm 200sx like a 4 cylinder without worrying on fouling a plug. One of the best investment on any carbureted machine

Ike, I love ya man, but I laughed so hard when the chain popped off the second bike. You were spot on though that the Hurricane had too short a gear for the hill climb. You guys need to put forced induction on one of these bikes to overcome the "altitude sickness" as Ike put it.

@4:23 Ike, it's NOT less Oxygen at altitude, it's Less PRESSURE! There is the same amount of available Oxygen at All altitudes, it doesn't matter if you're at Sea Level or the top of Mount Everest there is always 21% Oxygen in the Air! But what there is less of, is Barometric Pressure aka Air Pressure, which is what causes your body to process less Oxygen.
@Namesakes.unit-x-10sq102 жыл бұрын
There is less oxygen, as there is less air. The air density is lower, which means less. Your lungs arent depending upon barometric pressure to do your work, just enough air to process.
@ericpullen5242 жыл бұрын
As William said, the reason there is less air pressure is because there is literally less air above you pushing down on you, thus less oxygen. 21% of the air is oxygen as any altitude, but if there is say 25% less air at 8000 ft then there is also 25% less oxygen.
