Obviously watching this tutorial video a year behind time, but I loved it. These little match-box booklets are adorable. So many uses for them and any of them would make a fantastic gift. Even to make little stocking stuffers. Anything is possible. And yes... a running measurement total; figure out what size you want the pages to be, add 1/4" for the width, and then measure carefully. So much fun, and thank you so much for sharing your creativity.

I've made several of these, but I've made mine bigger. Great fun for a number of ideas.

A lot of cards I want to use have a vertical pic and when I do the scoring - they end up coming out upside down. My brain can't seem to figure out how to do it so the main pic is on the front. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi Susan - when I'm scoring from left to right - the main image is on the right side and the back image on the left.

I did the same thing. Sometimes writing a B for bottom or T for top in pencil before scoring helps me keep everything in line.

I used a good awl but when I pushed it through to the other side it was too close to the other hole and it became one whole. All the papers fell out as soon as I took off the binder clip. Not sure what I did wrong. Maybe I needed a button with wider holes? The back also looked torn rather than two clean holes. Also on the measurements for the three inch book, how long would the entire piece have to be?

I use a drill and either a 1/8 or in this case probably a 1/32 drill bit for things like this or Japanese stab binding where I have to go through numerous papers... saves hands.. do it on a phone book or something...
