Just purchased Gen 1; R50 2004 Mini base and because of your video I saw how to remove and change cabin filter( ps it appears to have never been changed from 2004 to 2019..fo real, lol) Perfect step by step instructions, and thanks for also mention8ng and showing the carbon filter you purchase, most excellent dude!

I think you have the air flow in the wrong direction. It comes FROM the floor and goes UP. You have it backwards. It doesn't blow out of the bottom. Check it out.

This is wrong. The lip should be outside of the track, because there is another parallel track as the one he is showing here starts going up. So the lip should be in the groove that is formed above the circle at @3:34
