Mini Cooper S Airbag : blow off battery terminal

ok so dealing with that airbag light led me to the positive battery terminal. I had the car connected to a diagnostic scanner which came up with "MRS Battery Positive Terminal Isolation".
there is a device in the battery's positive terminal called a "blow off" which activates in the event of an accident same as the airbag.
the cable is defective and I had to re-solder it and reset the airbag light.
