Thanks man. I had such a difficult time installing the clips on the first set, so I thought it's worth sharing what I've discovered.

I found widening the clips with two pairs of pliers was quick and consistent. Removing the wheels made it much much easier.

I would suggest using a floor jack and lifting one wheel at a time for more room.. thanks for the video. Good content indeed.

Just fitted flaps to my Cooper S Your tutorial was extremely helpful as they come with no instructions. I used a jack on the rear to give a little extra room to work. Flaps are excellent and well worth it. Thanks for sharing your installation process. 👍

I ordered these flaps for my wife's new SE both of which arrived a few days ago. After discovering they came without instructions tracked them down online and frankly the diagrams while ok make it seem much more difficult than your video. The same goes for forum posts that suggest removing the wheel etc. Thanks to this video I'm finally going to stop procrastinating and fit them later today. Thanks for taking the time to make this video!

I did mine the same without removing the wheels. The most tricky part was installing the rear clips.

Agreed 👍. But after I've discovered the trick to loosen the clips, it's significantly easier when I was installing the second one.

Thanks for the overview. Now that you've had them for a while, would you be able to comment on how effective they are at keeping the car cleaner? In my last Mini, the rear would get dirty especially quickly, and I'm wondering if mudflaps would help.

I did noticed some improvements as soon as I installed them. Before that, the rear gets dirty very quickly as you have noted.

I'm fitting the front today on my F55, as when I spoke with BMW/Mini, the parts guy told me the fronts should fit ok, but the rears won't fit on a F55.... Still trying to work out what to do with the rears... apparently there aren't any F55 OEM Mud Flaps. Great video btw Imspir3 👍
