There is a second piece in the lower bumper that needs to be remove or unclipped to fit the aftermarket lower piece. I think. Awesome build on that mini!

Easiest way to fit the lower aero grill on a non aero bumper is to just trim about 10mm off all the way round the back and tiger seal it in. That's what i did on mine lol. Now i'm gonna remove it and have the lower grill smoothed out instead. Looks epic imo. I personally prefer the gray headlight surrounds, i always like to colour match stuff like that. Black looks a bit like bold mascara haha. Having said that, it does look banging with the OZ wheels on.

Loving the colour ! ref the aero bottom grille ( well middle ) there is a guide to " modding " the trim to fit you can find if you google fitting aero to non aero bumper . Did the same as you originally with my grille but ended up not being happy and found the guide so put the aero grille on and much happier with it . Hope this helps .

How did you align the bonnet correctly? I had a crash a couple of months ago and it involved replacing the bonnet and hinges but I cannot for the life of me get the lines looking nice like they were before! Even the gap along the scuttle panel I can’t get right

Isn't the light above the exhaust a fog light not reverse? On my 54 plate facelift r53 cooper s it's a fog light.

This ones a 2003 so its a reverse light buddy.... changed the switch and no change 🤯🤯🤯 fortunately its not a MOT requirement so i’ll sort it soon lol .

Strip ya lights and dechrome the inside transformers he front no end🤙🏼 Same with the rear lights cut the open and dechrome ,,,kill all chrome,,,

No spacers mate.. the wheels are 17x7.5 et37 with 205/45/17 tyres :)

@@lunlun2930 its fairly close, limits how low you can drop the suspension however i’ve just put adjustable lower camber arms on and that’s helped :)

The headlight rings look ugly should've left them painted the same color as the car
