My roller shade blind was blocked since 18 months. BMW Mini proposed to repair it for 1.208,52 € (...only !!!). This is actually the amount your video made me save because it didn't cost me one cent to repair it. I didn't know it was that simple. Thanks a million.

I believe that the screw he shows you on the left is the screw that causes most sunroof rattles it seems to be exactly where my sunroof rattle is coming from so now all I have to do is remove the glass and tighten that screw. Thanks for the video.

If I need to replace the front roller blind, i need to remove the front roof glass only ? total 6 screw need to remove as well?

My 2018 Countryman sunroof shade snapped back today and now the fabric is hanging. Hoping this will fix that.

Hello! Did you fix your shade? I have the same car. My front shade is hanging too.. it wont retract back in. For mine, some strings are broken :/

@@iilliilliills if the shade is hanging you'll need a whole new cartridge or be able to glue the shade back

Thank you for the video unfortunately my problem is with the front one I’m a nurse and one of my masks got caught up when I was retrieving the front screen sunroof and the wire snapped it looks like fishing wire I’m not 100% sure yet but I’m gonna take it apart because I called Mini and that little Cartlidge is $450... fingers crossed

Could have used more help in how exactly you removed the shade itself. I removed the window and then was left high and dry.

Hi .thanks for the reply....I have a similar problem with my sunshade. I have re wound it but it's still loose on closing ? The metal coil has come off and I can't seem to get it tight enough ..any ideas? ..thanks
