I just completed my first Pixie Planter for my sister's gift shop to sell with air plants. She loves it and I'll be making many more. Thank you for the clear instructions.

I saw other videos with similar drop tear nest that uses double crochet. I think with single crochet stitch is better is more delicate the look.

Really like this design. I saw this on Butterfly Dreamz channel but it was a lot bigger. I need to check back and see how she did it. This will be great for holiday craft show. I just found the larger holder she made on your site. Now I have 2 different ones. Loved them both. Excellent work. Thanks so much. 🤗😇

@@DaysCrochet I just followed you on IG. Then ended up at your blog and OMG, finally found items to make for my market that are quick & easy, trendy, cost effective, etc as I've been crocheting for 41 years and find it hard in the summer so I don't usually crochet then, only for craft fairs in winter or personal orders. I am so excited and I love your work! I am very picky with items I make. You have made my day, I don't even know where to start as I love it all! Best part is you give a general idea of what to charge! I know it's different everywhere but I always struggled with pricing thinking they won't pay so I undercharge, but one can not beat these items and prices! Thank you so much! My new fav channel!! ❤️

@DaysCrochet2 жыл бұрын
I just use a much bulkier yarn and a fat hook lol. Joann’s just came out with a size 7 jumbo weight yarn that would be perfect for this called Big Twist Tubular yarn. I recommend a 12 mm hook or whatever hook they recommend on the package☺️ then just follow the pattern exactly the same.

I buy mine online from Fox yarns, but there are other companies I believe. Just google search “t-shirt yarn sold in the US”

I suppose it really depends on what materials you use and what your customer is willing to pay. I try to find a balance in between

When you count it's confusing, where is the last stitch is the one that has the join or one stitch before the join.

@@DaysCrochet These market you attend do they charge too much to sell your things. which state you live. I am in California. Here they charge about $170, used to be $50, and I think it was still expensive, and I wonder If I don't sell I lose all the money, or if sell just paying the cost but no profit. Can you make a video about selling, setting up the tent. How only one person can stay in the tent, going to restroom.

@@DaysCrochet Make a video about your you selling display in craft market if you don't mind. I sew and I want to sell my sewing stuff. I made items, I placed hang them in cardboard and inside clear plastic for viewing and protecting the items

@@tutsecret499 I have wanted to do a video like that, but because I am by myself and I am so busy all day, it's impossible. I keep my money on me, so when I have to pee I just tell my neighbor and run to the bathroom. If it's my big market, my husband comes by every couple of hours to let me go, but he doesn't stay with me because my tent only has room for me and then my customers. My best market requires payment. $50 registration fee, then 10% of my sales. BUT, that 10% goes to feeding hungry families in my area, so to me it's worth it.
