The electronica seemed to get Mac's attention, perhaps because of what he perceives as knocking? And the ambient sounds definitely had an intended effect; it looked as though he was ready to take a nap 🥰

When he tilted his head listening to the laptop, it reminded me of Nipper, the little Jack Russel terrier that RCA used in their ads. Looks like classical music affects him the same way it affects me, puts him to sleep, too.

Maybe it's what he likes but also what sounds he can tolerate. They hear so much more than we do. My guide dog hears a lot of choral and Renaissance music. She does not like handbells at church.
