I know you might not do enough welding to justify and auto darken helmet. but i think you would love one everytime you burned wire or rods.

every time I see that claw do something new it just cracks me up. It is like one huge bionic hand that can do anything. Just amazes me. Cool design. I liked in the one clip if it isn't parallel to the ground you just loosen the grip a bit to let it rotate in the "bionic hand" and let it self level itself to the slope of the ground again. pretty cool!!!

That sawdust is wonderful planting as it is full of minerals and is decaying down. Worms love coffee grounds and if you pour some old grounds and mix it in - they will come. And further break down the sawdust leaving behind better composted material. I saw the coffee work in the mountains at a cabin. They poured grounds out a window and the men would go for fishing worms. Always there.

As a woman with very little to no experience with welding, what are "strong bags"? Is this a type of cement or material to prevent crushing of the pipe or is it a weight distribution within the pipe. My husband sometimes works with family to clear tree felling and properties and this is a great alternative use for the tractor rake. I would like to keep the rake as a tractor implement and weld brackets/ brace for use with the excavator when needed.

Though I don't have a rotating grapple. I've always wanted to build a quick attach version of this for our mini. I have a 55inch blade that works great when I'm done backfilling but I think a rake would be awesome. I've already built a log splitter for the mini. Can't ever have enough attachments to increase efficiency. Awesome job building the rake. Super simple and very effective
@cotontop32 жыл бұрын
It would work well even on a direct mount like that. You would do some nice finish work with it and along with raking debris.

well lets see 80 k for the excavator, 30 k for the grapple maybe 500 for the modification to the 2000$ rake... or you could use the ole farm tractor we all got and scoop up the junk... at this point that's a lot of money tied up in 100$ worth of fire wood... just saying 113k.. firewood clean up tool.... handy for sure...lol
