Between Parkinsons and my frozen shoulder this was impossible to reach back :(

Thanks for your comment Mark, reaching back to YOUR full range is a great start! If you can't reach back all the way go as far as you can within a pain-free range, even just rotating the trunk without the arm movement is a great exercise as well. Frozen shoulder is a common issue with PD both prior to diagnosis and after. I know it can be frustrating as it limits certain movements but there are definitely lots of adjustments you can make including working within your pain-free range to slowly increase range of motion at the shoulder joint. Seeing a physio 1:1 is a great way to get treatment for frozen shoulder so hopefully you are doing that in addition to working on Parkinson's specific exercises.
