You should consider making these in Yellow for the Mini SE electric as the SE has Yellow highlights.

We can produce this with a few more colours, including a yellow that closely matches the MINI Electric.

@@scpautomotive one question. If I had to remove it in the future how well do you think the adhesive would come off? My car is new and I wouldn’t want to ruin the wheel as it has the Napa leather but I really would like this on my car. I just know these types of leather won’t look the same after a few years.. Also, thank you for the response!!

The adhesive we use for this product works really great on leather surfaces, and you shouldn’t experience any issues should you need to remove it. Your steering wheel could be one of two steering wheel’s depending on your vehicle’s production dates. The previous generation steering wheel is available for purchase. However, the current lineup’s steering wheel cover is due for release later this year.

@@scpautomotive I have a new ‘22 SE with the redesigned controls. I’d be more open to buying the cover then a new wheel. Thanks for the info

Are those covers universal?

Each cover is designed for each steering wheel, which allows a better quality fitment. If you’re interested in this product. We can create covers for other steering wheels too, it doesn’t necessarily need to be BMW or MINI. Simply contact us through our website, with an image of your steering wheel, and we’ll be more than happy to assist.

Any customer feedback? How easy? Can dummy like me do or will it take pro stitcher ?

I've done a few steering wheels on the R56 Mini's best way is to disconnect the battery and remove the airbag and trim pieces then you can tuck the alcantara in neatly and all the trim will go back in snug .The stitching is basic you just have to pay attention to the pattern ..good luck
