Went Millsys Auto today to get my screen fitted...... Gave him my car details & he supplied & fitted Great guy.....he went out of his way to help me out sorting a fuel pump module as mine was throwing up faults...... 100% great guy......2hr trip well worth it

@@jonfoz1379 you would need to contact a fitted such as Millsys autos or codemybimmer for a quote as I supplied the bits and had lots of work done on one bill

Thanks for the information! When I first saw this head unit, I realized how inadequate my tach was. I've never liked that on my F56. My old R50 was such an easy read in that respect. I'll have to study this process a bit more in depth but this is very intriguing.

Did you use the original airbag on the steering wheel when swapping to the newer model and did the wiring just fit straight over for all the other function buttons. Great video wished I'd found it before buying a secondhand digital dash. John

Did mine yesterday. Seeing yours has put my mind at rest regarding the 'current fuel economy' showing 90mpg when the engine is off. I'm curious to know if you have the option in the menus to remove 'current fuel economy'? I seem to be missing it, I have options to remove most of the others (average mpg, average speed, date etc).

Chances are the option to toggle 'current consumption' isn't there. And your 'Range' will still be a toggle option even though it's permanently shown. Fortunately both can be rectified with BimmerCode.@@tweedbean

Hello I have I f56 cooper s 2015 ,I must find a digital cluster from this model or from any model and with the coding it comes to my car’s standards? And …I notice that some digital clusters have one more cable entry (blue colour) ,why this ?

Hi not sure what the blue one is for. When you say come up to cars standard, what do you mean? It only displays the same info your original one does in a nicer format

If the car already has a MOST cable, is it routed near where the cluster plugs in? Is that why you don't need to open up the headunit?

Hi I didn’t have nav or heads up in mine. It all depends if you have that MOST connector on the back of the headunit as per video

You can do just the dash as it’s just the look of the wheel that changes

Thats a factory fitted dash trim, not aftermarket

Thanks man! That was super helpful. Curious though - If you have a HUD, and want the digital cluster, would you need to pick between the two, or can you have both? I would imagine both, but I am unsure if you can have one cable/connector for two things like that.
