Just got mine working. NOTE: Since the new clusters being sold are a newer model # you now have to use updated files: 4.50.40 PSDZ lite + Esys 3.40.2

Hey, I am as you mention ‘across the pond’ and have a 2015 Mini JCW. Mine has the heads up display so would it be a plug and play install for me or would I still need to code it? Any help would be much a appreciated! Thanks Dan

My 2020 mini countryman se, came with HUD and top head unit with big screen, but analog cluster. To retrofit is just coding in this case? After swapp the cluster off course.

When you copy the psdz folder across to the data folder and then open up e-sys it throws an error up saying the contents of the current psdzdata folder is invalid or empty 🤷‍♂️

Good evening , after the installation of the digital cluster (without the optical fibre cause in my car there is no port for fibre connection ) the only problem I face is that I cannot set the time from the central unit ? Why does it happen??

@@Chris-bf5yr hmm I’m not sure. I haven’t heard of that one before. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fiber optic cable, since that’s transferring data.

Been following you for a while now. Done everything except the lowering. Installed digital dash but having a terrible time coding. 2017 Cooper s f56. Using laptop on windows 11, downloaded your program links and bam, errors. I’ve done all my upgrades myself with help from you and you tube but this coding has got me. Any advice?

@@RAMTRPR semi, but really you change to it for the “newness” and modern feel it brings. There’s not a lot of customization to it.

Is it necessary to have MOST port on the HeadUnit in order to implement this upgrade to 6WB cluster?. My MINI F60 does not also have the HUD. Can MINI without the MOST port on their headunit & absent HUD also upgrade?. Thanks.

Is there any difference into coding for a Mini Cooper SD diesel version? I am aware that you need a different cluster for the diesel version but is the coding the same any idea? Thanks

@@EmilianYT I don’t see why the coding would be different, because I believe they would all run on the same CANBUS system, but the only way to know with certainty would be to try it.

Hey Michael. I have a question for you which I hope you'll be able to answer. Is it possible to retrofit digital cluster and radio upgrade (bluetooth, navigation etc) in Mini One 2011 R56? Thats mine MINI and I'd like to upgrade it's non existant infotainment system and change from analog rpm counter to digital with digital information? If that's possible, what shoud I be aware of and if it's not possible, till what production date can you upgrade the infotainment system? Thank you :)

@@tinavladi5866 you can technically do everything in the e-sys, it was just easier for me to use both.

Just a brief note. There may be a compatibility problem between E-sys and psdzdata versions vs ECU! The versions in this video work flawlessly.

That's a good question. You would be able to turn off the light using this tool if you find what code it is. 😅

I’m getting an error for updating my digital cluster on a mini cooper JCW f56. When I load the E-Sys. I get the following error. Error PSdZ Error Files ODX-Checker m The content of the current psazdata folder "C:\Data" is invalid or empty. Only data handling modules are available. Io use all E-Sys functions without restrictions, please intort a valid PDX container or set a valid psazdata di ectory. [G270] Set PSdZ-Root using "C:\Data" failed! What happens with mileage? Does it update from the existing or does it reset to 0?

I believe the mileage is stored in a variety of places so will pick up the cars mileage. However, if you fit a used digital cluster there's the risk of getting a tamper warning. So used ones should be 'virginised'.

Basically F54 F55 F56 F60 all use the same cluster, no matter is it a JCW or not

If you're referring to the OBD2 cable, one side goes to your computer and the other side plugs in to the OBD2 port. Google the location of the port and go to "images".
