Mini Fabric Landscape

In this video Claire shares with you how she creates a mini landscape from scraps. She uses free motion machine embroidery and explains how to use thicker threads in the bobbin. Plus demonstrates how to add detail with hand embroidery.

Great landscape . I also thought that another good idea was to use Adhesive spray to hold all that down and then sewing it with clear thread with a sewing machine

I'd probably have to take a photo of it once I've got it sorted out, so that when I'm tacking, or pinning or move something, I'd see where to put any fabric back to where I was pleased with it. Also (for me) taking a photo would be like taking a big step backwards to look at it with fresh eyes...(using my phone to grab an image btw). This is a fascinating creative process and so beautiful how you've finished it. Thank you so much for sharing your process. Really love this 😊😊

What make and model sewing machine are you using please.

All my favourite machines are Silver, I love them. The model I call my work horse is no longer manufactured but the 1040 is the nearest they still stock. You can purchase direct from the company. Their customer service and servicing is brilliant assuming you live in the S.E of England to drop it into the service guys at the warehouse. www.silverviscount.co.uk
