The reason why Porsche changed the Numbers from 901 to 911 was, because Peugeot has a registered right of the 0 in the middle of 3 Numbers, like 203, 204, 304, 403 and so on. 🙂

The same for Warszawa 201 in deep communism era in Poland. Pegeot forced to change name Warszawa 201 to 221.
