Hey did you cut these little pieces of wood your self or did you order it from a company looking to do this build with my nephew to show him the process of how to build houses on our KZbin channel

Made all the material ourselves, cut them all ourselves even made stamps to make it look like wood ordered from a lumberyard, but we made everything ourselves. Used square Dowels bought at Home Depot as my two by fours then used a piece of three-quarter inch plywood as my LVL. And fabricated the little steel column caps to receive the LVL with sheet metal and a soldering gun. The 2 x 12 rafters are just a piece of quarter inch by 1-1/2 trim bought at Home Depot cut to the size we needed. Then the plywood we used as our sheer panels is just a wood veneer. We used a pin nailer as well. But you have to check out all the other videos on this tiny house. We did the foundation fabricated our own little Dobie ‘s and our reinforcement Steel was a fun little build. We still have to finish it. Stay tuned

@@co-know-proconstructiontips amazing work, I build houses for a living and this is an impressive little build to say the least. Love how your breaking everything down and making it so simple to understand for the “average joe”. I still have to finish watch the rest of the videos but everything looks awesome so far. 👍🏼 Thanks for the info!

@@painting1989 Thank you so much for the awesome comment. Very very cool! We are house builders as well, and it was definitely hard putting together the mini materials. Our intention was to do it in a way to help people out to understand house building. So thank you so much for this really awesome comment and the feedback and the support. We really appreciate that. Let us know if you have any more questions, thanks again. 👍🏻

You could have substituted some printer paper or anything and it would of been a great talking point.

Patrick Russell Don’t know what you’re talking about bud but there’s no foam needed between the slab in the concrete lol 😂 The slab and the concrete are the same thing not sure what you’re talking about bud.

SomeDumUsrName --- It’s not a two Poor foundation it’s a single poor there is no cold joint between stem wall and slab. That’s why there is no gasket in this build. 👍🏻😎🔨
