I received my miniEFIS in 4 days after ordering it! I'm in the US. Initially, I had issues with the buttons on both the EFIS and FCU being INOP. I finally decided to completely uninstall both the firmware and DLS. What worked for me was to copy the executable to the desktop, then run the programs. Now everything works as advertised! It's a great tool and it is hard to fly anything other than an Airbus for now! Lol! I hope that someone releases a Boeing version very soon. The PMDG and iFly are outstanding aircraft to not have an addon like this.

Great overview of the miniEFIS. I wish all products had videos like this.

Thanks Stian! If they send me them they will do 🤣

Hi all. I have the MiniEFIS already as I was a MiniFCU backer. It's a very nice unit and it really improves the immersion. The 80% form factor is fine for me. And the support from MiniCockpit is excellent. No Import Duty for me into Australia.

Agreed. The scaled down size is also fine with me. I have thrustmaster TCA airbus throttle quadrant which is also scaled down. So, they are matched and not an issue

@@g_pazzini Yeah its not a huge deal for the most part!

I can’t get the MSFS 2024 Datalink Software to install its plugins into the community folder. Have the path properly set and it just sits there frozen after clicking install.

Is the device plugged in and on when you are trying to do that? Have you tried a reinstall of the DLS with the latest version? May even need to try run as admin.

I cant get the connector in at all, even with a screwdriver, such a bad design
@BobbyFuzzy14 күн бұрын
It takes a bit of patience. If you're really struggling you can unscrew the casing on the miniFCU and then you should be able to do it easily by hand. miniCOCKPIT have confirmed if you do it this way you aren't invalidating any warranty and is totally safe to do so.
@paulm502514 күн бұрын
@@durkadirka Yes, I feel it is more difficult than it ideally should be. I initially tried using a flat blade screwdriver as MiniCockpit suggested, but I was concerned at damaging a wire. So I took the cover off the FCU and pressed it in by hand. Very easy to do. And I never plan to seperate the units in the future, so this is a once-off. Overall, MiniCockpit do a very good quality product with high quality service.

@@paulm5025 oh that's a good idea, so just to confirm its the main unit you took the cover off and it went in straight away? Many thanks for suggesting that

@@BobbyFuzzy many thanks too for replying, its been very frustrating, gave up on it and was ready to send back but will try get the cover off now!

@@durkadirka Hi. Yes, take the cover of off the FCU unit. I think there are only 4 screws and it comes off easily. Then you have better visibility. Actually, as BobbyFuzzy said, the MiniCockpit team mentioned this on a forum. They said it is a method they supported as an alternative for anyone who was concerned and they said it would not void any warranty. 👍. So feel free to do it this method with peace of mind.

Winwing better
@BobbyFuzzy14 күн бұрын
I've not tried that, why do you prefer the WinWing product? Do you own both?
@wolfgangperscheid740113 күн бұрын
I would not recommend to by this product! Arrogant people treating you as a third level customer, explainig you why you were not been chosen (yet) to be able to by this product. By the WinWing product instead, it is avaiable and even cheaper!!!
@BobbyFuzzy13 күн бұрын
Why is that arrogant? It states on their website their Kickstarter backers for the miniFCU are prioritised in a pop up on the product page. Seems pretty fair prioritising the customers that invested in making their company possible, no?
