So I used it and when I was done flying I alt f4 the game without stopping the injected and now nothing moves everything just sits stik at the gate and everytimr I start the inject there multiple planes at the same gate because some of them are from me alt f4 and the other is my current injector

Coming from X-Plane, this is such a crock of bologna. X-Plane implements it *right*. I want to record a flight and then play it back from a different vantage point. But it appears that some parts of the flight can't even be faithfully replayed, for instance, the weather requires keyframes, and then what happens at the keyframe, the weather has a jarring "jump" from the evolved conditions to the keyframed condition? Edit: Apparently the weather keyframe isn't even what it purports to be - it doesn't remember anything about the positions of the clouds, for instance, which i need for the effect I want to achieve.

Yeah I agree XP did it right! As far as I know this tool doesn't even record the weather just the flight path. I've not used it in a while though.

does it follow the routes of the actual planes more or less the same? and what would be the delay. So if see a plane in certain spot, was the plane there 1min ago or few seconds ago ?

No it just injects the planes at the right times they would show up on fr24. Everything else is handled by the sim.

Just another cool app that lowers FPS ...the more planes you add, the more it lowers game playability, unless you own a water-cooled i9 and 4070 RTX with lots of DDR5 memory. SMH

I mean thats only natural right, you can't expect to add more objects (polygons) and textures to a 3D world and expect the performance to stay the same. If a system struggles with the sim already then yeah it would probably affect playability but if that's the case then using addons in general is probably not the greatest idea, similar to most moddable games. That all being said FS Traffic ran fine on my previous system which was a mid level 5800X3D and a 3080, DDR4. The CPU being the main factor for AI traffic addons.

Seeing these graphics, I wouldn't say FS Taffic is slightly better performing than the tw freeware option, but it is way better performing.

Hi trying to get an answer to one question. BTW have been using FSTL for months and love it so great work. About to configure the API key so thanks to the video for making it clear! OK my question is REMOVE NEARBY AIRCRAFT. What is the exact radius from which aircraft will be removed and is it user configurable? I'd like an absolute figure please!

NVM i found the answer in the online manual! Remove Nearby Traffic: Removes traffic that is active around you in an approx 5km radius - useful if aircraft are stuck in front of you on taxi or slow aircraft on final blocking your way!

Both about the same to be honest. The commercial feels quite nice against the skin but in terms of comfort there's very little difference.

This tutorial is worth a million bucks ! I think best option (for me) is to buy Axis And Ohs, not expensive at all…an investment for the future. Not many functions missing, need to program Parking Brake + Gear Up & Down at least. Thanks heaps ! I haven’t checked for the script yet, I’m sure it there.

AIG is a different approach. Offline vs online. Not totally direct comparison. Both have their pros and cons. Thank you for the comment!

@@BobbyFuzzyi know dont get me wrong please fsltl is good but they are way too slow in the optimization like the share ammount of lack of liverys the poor airport parking realism in smaller or less known airport and even when they release new liverys they dont focus that much on smaller airports

@zaidooos Airport parking is down to scenery creators sadly! Smaller airline liveries etc are yeah... takes time to build them up FSLTL is a recent startup, AIG has liveries from years of work. If you're any good at liveries they are always looking for help!

One question on the set-up / customisation - regarding the side platforms (where the throttle and sidestick are kept, right and left) - can they be adjusted lower ? - i.e. I prefer to have these items lower than normal, to more closely simulate actual position in an aircraft. Thanks!

Yes they can be moved lower and higher. Bare in mind that because platforms are attaching to the seat base they are *much* lower down by default than on a desk for example so you will have no problems with this. That is what I aimed for as well.

It's a pleasure! Thanks! You could open the injector when you first open the sim and if you do multiple flights in one session it should pause between each and start again when you start a new one.

I'm not sure what to say, it's less of a faff than 90% of the programs one runs on a PC. As explained in the video the traffic is injected live based on FR24 data so your sim time or weather has no bearing. Use AIG or FS Traffic if you want the traffic schedules to move with the sim time.

One time. You'll need to run the injector every time you want to inject traffic though. Unless you stick with the MSFS live traffic.

Don't use VR so can't say I've tried this but I don't see why not. Essentially the replay tool is just recording the aircraft, camera movements and location. You could create a new camera track outside the plane and record that as you like.

I'm having a problem when calibrating my throttle. When I'm using the tablet, the 2 throttles show different values. Throttle 1 Idle shows -4385 while Throttle 2 Idle shows -8510. How can I fix that?

Check your sensitivity settings match in MSFS for both throttles. Make sure they match there and you should be good. You may also want to double check you have the exact same bindings for both throttles too. It can be easy to overlook but this aircraft is very specific as to whether you select 'THROTTLE x' or 'THROTTLE x (0 to 100%)' in your bindings.

Just received mine, have you found a way to turn it off when not in use other than unplugging it? Shame that it doesn't seem to have a standby function or a simple on/off switch on the side. As it stands it looks like I'll have to keep unplugging it for the 90% of time my PC is not doing Flight Sim stuff. That can't be good for the strain on the USB connector over time.

Unfortunately not, you could plug it into a powered usb hub with switches so you can turn it off that way.
