mini Jeep Gets 4th gear and a new motor!

I just purchased one of these jeeps for my Camp to travel back-and-forth to other camps near me. Looks like it may work out well I do like the four speed. That you converted to what size motor and much conversion.

No conversion. Just you lose reverse. It’s a 140 and the power is night and day. Drops right in.

There is a way to convert to shaft drive and in doing so with a non reverse 4speed engine that readds the reverse as well as low range... It involves a bit or work though

You can engine swap these, put a 5 speed 250cc with reverse on it.

Most you can get is 3 with reverse.. I swapped mine with a semi 4 speed but the gears are to short.. I can’t find 530 /17 tooth that fits our motor.

New motor what did you go with is it the same 125cc?

The original motor was a 125 3 speed with reverse, now it’s got a 140cc 4 speed no reverse…

@@LONELYCLONER got ya. I was going to say they have a bbk that will make the 125cc in to a 141cc I no a guy that build and does the head work to the clone motor. He take his Grom clone to the track

@@LONELYCLONER I'm not sure but I wouldn't doubt it if I remember right you can get a 160cc bbk do you no the brand of engine it is I could find out if they got one. I no the bottom end on the zs 212cc engine is the same all the way down to a zs 140cc so there Easley upgrade able.
