Mini jig trout fishing lake camanche slaying it on a slow day

It was a slow day until I found the school and the bait of the day witch was a berkley powerbait atomic tube in the grasshopper color and I was throwing that on my 8’0 ultra light berkley lightning rod with a shimmano sienna 500 series reel on 2lbs test fluorocarbon line

Ya thanks for making this video. I won't be fishing till April 15th 2022 , but I watched another video of someone using Berkeley atomic teaser grasshopper and had the same outcome catching them. Yo thanks mike these grasshopper jigs are an amazing lure smart choice grabbing multiple packs they are hard to find at times these have been my go to lure for 3 years now I’m glad you enjoyed this video and I wish you luck with them jigs on your next hunt

I love it the reel is smooth as butter and rod cast great not to mention handles the fight very well it is a little heavier in the hand then I would prefer but it dose the job for me I hope you like the video

@@trouthunterz4834 I almost caught a carp but my. Line snapped but it had to have been like a foot and half long normally they stay more in the deepest part of the pond and come up closer during the summer time when water temps start to rise up
