One thing I like to do is try to run along coasts more to prevent dead space. If you look at the pink skyscraper early instead of running through the middle you run the road along the coast. The journey might be a little longer but the space between the pinks twhere the purples spawned always needed a motorway with the current set up but could be connected if not. Doesn't always pay off but trying to avoid the dead space may save a motorway long term

Houses never spawn directly adjacent to destinations, so no need to block out those spaces. What you can do is block out the space one further (so leave an empty space between the road and the building), to prevent houses to spawn there and preserve some road planning flexibility for the future. Also, you can save some road tiles when blocking out by drawing a dashed line.

I feel connecting too many houses caused extra congestion. A surplus of cars might have created chaos. Also I feel traffic lights should not be used for entrances. The point is to maintain speed but using it before parking is counter to its sole benefit.

You used the wrong purple neighborhood on highway 7 and it caused the one that cost you the game to become overloaded. You had that one purple neighborhood that was unused on the mid left of the map. That’s where highway 7 should have been pulling from.

Is it better to have rounded corners or get the closest way possible? I'm talking about how you connected the first building and the first purple building with a rounded 90° entrance rather than a steep 45° entrance.

I think most likely shortest is best. But im not sure if that 45 is too sharp that they might slow down. I have seen others suggest that before

You should have a roundabout at the end of a bridge so more people can connect to the roundabout bridge not s neighborhood. Try it out everyone else is mixing roundabouts

At some point the world stops expanding and no new things spawn, you can just let it run at that point. But without utilising spawn control it's near impossible to get scores that high.
