Saw a few episodes from you guys last night on NGC in Belgium. This is a very practical (and also awesome) machine. I'm pretty sure though that I'll never be able to afford one. Looking forward to see more of this crazy inventions.

These guys are awsome! Taking Tracked Vehicles to a whole other level, and its crazy because this Technology and equipment has been around forever and I guess people were just thinking Robots or Snowmobiles, but these guys are definitely trying to think outside the box.... like helping handicap people by taking them Deep in the woods AND helping them get there Game back to there home....Just Awsome guys

@daylatedollashort ... the handle bars r connected to input potentiometers that tell the computer controlled hydraulic valves what to do and how much power to put to each track. The control of minirip is state of the art and the same as its bigger brother the Ripsaw

Most badass ATV I've ever seen! I see many applications for this platform ie: search & rescue. To everyone saying how dangerous it looks and lacking seating, realize this is obviously a test rig, and not a production model with seats, fenders, ect. H&H did the same with big Ripsaw if you check out the other vids..just a drivetrain and roll cage first...then later, it got pretty!
@BoostedBadBoy9 жыл бұрын
Man I actually miss your guy's show on Discovery, I enjoyed watching you build all your machines and the actual fabrication that went into it. Granted the arguing was old... lol But that's family love and reality TV shit...but it was still nice to see how something like this is made and the new stuff you guys came up with.

what kind of drive system did you use, clutch plates, belts that slip when they loose tension or hydraulics. I would really like to know cause I am thinking about building one and I want to do off roading but hydraulics are too slow and belts don't work when they get wet so I'm exploring options. thanks in advance
@lilstathaki7 жыл бұрын
There is definitely a market for this!!! Make these reasonably priced and they’d sell like crazy!! Plus make side by side version with a bed!!! Too many people buying atv and installing tracks when they can just get one of these bad ass machines!!! Or team up with a company that already makes ATVs and side by sides to have less risk, Yamaha or Polaris

I'd like to see these guys build an amphibious tracked vehicle that rivals the Argo. Only stipulations: Same price point as argo. And maybe work a suspension in there somewhere.
@robertbruce54895 жыл бұрын
Give it a snorkel induction tube that sticks up a bit and you could probably in warmer conditions drive it underwater. Would be super bad ass. Think of of those H1s that could go completely under roof and all. What is track maintenance like when you use it seriously? High maintenance? And is it difficult to perform on it? Super cool design.

And stand up riding allows for shitloads better weight transitioning and manoeuvrability, ok you might get tired trying to ride this beast cross country, but id take one of those any frikin day. This thing is pure awesome.

This is a great prototype but like others have said it needs some guards. Easy enough to do just dont completely enclose the tracks because were going to need to wash those things out pretty often. All that aside this is the future of atvs... Im serious. TATV's! Ok shitty name but im a millwright/welder from Canada so if you need help with design, fabrication or the mechanical side of it im your man! Heh
