EXO, your build is awsome. Keep in mind that the actual pressure the box wall will receive is about 1.47 PSI at 174dB as an exemple. So you multiply that PSI by the wall surface and you get the actual force the wall will get!.. it is often thousand pound force in both directions! Your wall will be stressed as well!.. I use the rule of tumb: One atm pressure is 14.7PSI and is 194dB from a change in pressure from 0 to 14.7PSI. Each time you remove acoustical 20dB you divide the force by 10. So 194dB is 14.7PSI, 174dB is 1.47PSI, 154dB is 0.147PSI. You see? Knowing that it put in perspective how much force your wall will receive from the acoustical pressure! Your horizontal metal brace wil need to work in compression and extension each sides from the wall below the speaker baffle. I could give you the formula but i lost it.. I think it was something like 20 log (&Y*&U)(!)$.....)P1/P2 etc or maybe 20 log (p / pref)...

I posted a comment on a video awhile back about " keep filming even if its not car audio related. We're all living vicariously through you with your new home problems- we've been there. We can relate. Now youre there". Life happens but now Im back to watching your channel. I see progress is slow and steady on the build. One day at a time. I'm not complaining. I can relate to you. I started last August building my custom kitchen from scratch. made all the cabinets, drawers, doors, etc. It's not easy and quite overwhelming. People keep asking me "when will it be done?" I see you're doing your own work now. Very proud of you for that! It's hard doing stuff by yourself. Now I listen to you while I work on the kitchen. Anyway sorry for the long post.
