Check out the Raddy RF-L3 Multifunction Radio. It`s very similar to this, same price, but has AM/FM/SW/Bluetooth/MP3 and uses replaceable rechargeable 18650 lithium ion batteries. The cool thing about it is that it can work with (or charge) one to four of the batteries. It has three bulbs on long cords and a smaller wattage solar panel on a long cord that charges the device in about 5 hours. It functions as a power bank and includes a built in light similar to this and also a bright spotlight.

Nice, but you got a ringer. The one that sells for less than $50 is the 42 Wh model, and it only has a 5W solar panel. At about $60, the 84 Wh model is a better deal, but those 4 LiFePO4 cells could have been wired in series to produce closer to 12V, and the 5x2.1mm jacks would be a lot more useful. At 3.2V and only 1A total, that means that each bulb is only a 1W fixture. As it stands, I already have several pocket-sized 95 Wh battery banks, solar panels with USB outputs that can charge them, and a selection of USB-powered LED lights to use with them. I'd choose something like that to take camping, even if I was buying from scratch. These products seem to be made for people in emerging nations, and could be a godsend in places with no utility power.

I have one and it's garbage. for some reason there seem to be good ones and bad ones. I got a bad one. it worked great for the first 2-3 days. after that, it would charge when it felt like it, and other times, not at all. the cord to charge it by outlet was missing as were the s clips. I tried charging the phone using the USB but it was taking hours. the unit ran out of power before charging the phone a mere 30%.However,I have this small USB fan and it will run it on low almost a day. The 3 lights that come with the unit are if anything, too bright.A lot of light, without having to hold a flashlight, leaving hands free.Very convenient! there is no outlet to plug anything into on the unit, but giving the low power,I see why, if it took so long charging a phone. It's a great unit if you need lights and a fan. the solar panel that came with it looks very sturdy and well built. After 1 month, my unit is not working. I dint know if it's the solar panel or the unit. I am very upset. it cost $60 that I don't have to spare. So I go to fill out the warranty card. It asks for model and serial number but I can't find any on the unit. And no address to mail it to. So I definitely would not recommend this product. I am now stuck with it.I hope to learn to somehow at least figure a way to use the battery, which will be difficult as I am not electronic savvy and don't have the tools needed. I give this junk a 3 out of 10 because I did like it when it did work, but give it a 0 now.
