I see you use auto welding clamps. I reckon they might just be the best invention since sliced bread!

Yes if you want to get a nice 90’ then they work wonders

This is incredibly impressive work. I have just restored a Mini and would like to build another one with a tubular spaceframe and plenty of horsepower. I think your frame design is great and would like to buy the plans for it as a template if that is possible.

Now this video has got me thinking. What do you concider to be the right option too be when deciding weather to go with FWD or RWD for a track car for a bike engine fitment.

i much prefer front wheel drive in these as they are so light weight and the engine sits over the front wheels so it better to pull the back end round then have the weight in the back and not much weight over the steer wheels, you van make a rear engine one work iv just not had much development input in one

@@skidmores.garage whats your tube diameter and thickness?
@skidmores.garage2 жыл бұрын
@@FirstLast-tx3yj the main hoop, front legs, dash bar and rear legs are 45mm OD and 2.65mm wall thickness as that’s what it has to be in the blue book and the rest is 38mm OD and 2.65mm wall. You could use 1.5mm wall for this but strength is priority
