I heard that with gouache you should keep it moist or “wet” or use it straight out of the tube for better quality. I see you have yours in pans similar to watercolor - do you have any thoughts on this?

Hey Tina, this is a good discussion. So I think it depends on the look you're going for. Once my gouache dries in pans I can mist it and let it reactivate so it can still achieve an opaque watercolor style. But it will not get as creamy and consistent as if you just squeezed it out of the tube. I've tried keeping my pans moist before but it actually started molding.. so I definitely prefer gouache in tubes for a fresh application when I do large paintings but on a day-to-day basis I don't mind re-wetting my dried gouache. Let me know what your experience is :)?
