I was just noticing that and came down here to see if anyone else thought so... It reminds me of when I went to a concert and the little maybe 5 foot tall chick playing guitar was playing a huge 335, and it made her look like a child holding it, lol.

Great sounding board. Tone City pedals are a great value, and sound really good. The only thing I would change is the power supply - I prefer using a Volto type battery supply with a GigRig Isolator (if isolation is needed, GigRig Distributor if isolation is not needed). I don't actually use the Volto though - I use a mobile phone power bank (lower cost and higher capacity) with a 5v to 9v voltage converter box. It all fits under my PedalTrain Nano or Nano Plus, and it eliminates the AC cable when you are setting up and breaking down. Very convenient. If you use guitar wireless, its even better :-) Rob, if you ever want to try this, I would send you one of my voltage converters (I assemble them from inexpensive parts). Works great.

Slap a few mooer preamps on there and you got a gig-ready rig for on the go. You only need either a separate external power amp or plug it into the return of the fx loop of any bigger amp.

In this video we learn that Rob can't tell the difference between a state and a country, neither Rob nor Dave can count and the tone city pedals can produce a decent sound when you plug an expensive guitar into them.

Jimmy Jonsson Probably due to the compressor? If it's still on then they do tend to boost the background noise quite a bit.

Rob, first I love "cheap" pedals. Second, I really dig the work you've had done on your arms. I have both of my upper arms covered in artwork and have known many others over the years who have as well, but the art you have appears quite unique. It's interesting. Nice. Can I ask what it all is?

Hi rob. Love your work. Massive fan from down under. Bad news though. I doubt you’ve heard but Phil Emmanuel passed away last night (24th May) and it’d mean a lot to the music community here if you could do a video in his honour, particularly in Australia. I was his live sound engineer for the last couple of years and I’d love to see something with your flavour uploaded. I showed him a bunch of your videos and he was very impressed with what he saw.

I love it except the small pedals don't allow for a battery. Lose that power supply and use external batteries or battery pedal and you could shrink that down even more. But then you got batteries to deal with. Always a trade off, no perfect solution. But this sounds great. Hotone pedals FTW anyone?

@pistolgoo6 жыл бұрын
Tucker Loral go CAP10 out of the two. I feel prs se are made to a slightly lesser quality on purpose to remind you that there is a better one for triple the price. The CAP10 is a great guitar I played the old one with Duncans in Andertons. Prs are also pretty boring imo so you'd have a more unique guitar if u went with the CAP10.

So, not under £200, then. Comp Engine £39.99 King of Blues £69.99 Tape Machine £49.99 Tiny Spring £49.99 £209.96, then there's the board (£42.99), patch cables (call it a score) and if you want one, a Fuel Tank £91.00. Or just scraping under the £200 mark at £363.95. Thankfully, your counting is done with music, not as my bookkeeper. Keep up the good work. Dave.
