diazzsama I don't know, that isn't the case for me. I've never really cared for the look of my pedals (of course having nice looking ones is always a good thing). I'm more into the look of my guitar and strap lol.

The Ambient delay is probably my favorite pedal I have ever had. Once it's set right, the reverb is lush and the delay can go one for what seems like forever. I use it clean through a Fender with a Strat and a PRS and it has served me extremely well.

Steve Morse has a pedal board made up of just Ernie Ball volume/expression pedals. He has a drawer of pedals in his rack. He uses the expression pedals out front to control how wet the effects are in the wet side of his rig. There's a KZbin video about it :)

Alright. I've got the copper and gold ones, I never felt that expressive.. I use the boring settings and pedal it on and off, with a little attenuation. I'm getting the purple one mostly for the color.

Forgot the Ernie Ball wah, to me it's got the same range as a standard Dunlop GCB95 Crybaby wah but without that dead spot that the GCB95 has about from 2/3 the way tow down to full toe down position, and they can be had cheap, usually $50 US.

Hi Rob! Great video as usual! Just a little comment on the audio. There's something weird going on when you play at a lower volume.. It sounds like the sidechain compressor or a gate of some sort (I assume you are using one based on what I heard) acting between your voices mic and the guitar amp mic, has the release time set too short or something like that, and sometimes you can hear the mic you've got set up for your voices, going back in when the guitar hasn't stopped yet. (sorry if i didn't explained myself well english is not my native language). I really like this videos btw. Congrats!

Question I have is can the delay pedal do a quarter note with a dotted eighth note from the original signal? my favourite delay setting and if I could dynamically bring it in with a pedal that would definitely be a pedal to get.

I bought the delay it’s first day out and it heel down never really bypassed . I could hear delays and my tone felt sucked . I was totally bummed and remains one of the few pedals I’ve ever returned . Anyone have any help on this ?

Sooo excited with the video Title... sooo let down by the EB sales pitch... Please, please, PLEASE re-visit this awesome concept with a few wahs, rocker phasers (e.g. Ibanez PT1000 or MXR variphase), volumes, fuzz-wahs (talk about variety) and defo the EB expression range (which is cool, but not cool enough to be exclusive) mixed in.

@Rob Chapman: Hey man, I've been enjoying your videos for years, I just want to suggest something small but very helpful to some of us. It would be nice if you could put all the gear that you use in every video down in the description box or list them in any small section of the video. It would also be nice to have them tagged. For example if you're making an Ibanez guitar review with the victory v40, even if you're not advertising the v40, put it as a tag, some people will watch that review only to listen for the v40. So, yeah, would be very nice to have your gear written in description box and as tags. Thanks for staying awesome man.

Don't think so. It was the one with the artist package and a stop-tailpiece. You should be able to find the video with the words "PRS 5000" 🙂✌️.

I feel like these are more for people exploring sound possibilities and what they like instead of a touring musician. For a touring musician, you need your sound mostly the same every night so having an expression pedal would make that a little more difficult

Nice. I use 2 all the time - OD and Delay - the OD has a fairly beefy boost that covers most of the volume pedal territory for me - once you get the hang of them they really do open up some tones (when the OD is working - it’s off to the shop yet again - mine, at least, is fairly fragile - clicks and pops)
