Mini Twist on Short Natural 4b/4c Hair | GLORIA ANN

Hey Glo Gang, This has been my most requested video. Here's how I do my mini twist on my short natural 4b/4c hair. I used Uncle Funky's Daughter Extra Butter Cream and Curly Magic to achieve this look and it's super easy. This style lasts me for a good 3 - 4 weeks before I take it down to rock a defined twist out. Until I get to your length, I'm planning to do protective styles and barely ever have my natural hair out because it takes way too much of the time I don't always have and because I know I'll always have it in a high puff. I have 2c/3a hair. I've had my hair highlighted and straitened till I was 18. Then I started on my own natural hair journey. Even after 5 years, I'm still learning. My mom has 4a hair. She's had her hair straitened and highlighted for as long as I can remember. She's just now starting to go natural for the first time, but her hair is damaged. I really appreciate this video. I'm trying to find ways to help style her hair and what kind of products she may need. Thought twist might be a good way to restore, hydrate and protect her hair as it grows out.

When I do single twist like this they stick up in the air. My hair is about the same length as yours. I’m thinking maybe it’s because my hair is thin/fine/ not heavy enough to just hang? What do you think? Anyone?

It could be the products you're using. If i use a light moisturizer on my hair that my hair will soak up in 5 minutes, my hair will be super dry and stick up and look crazy the next day. I would advise using a thick butter like UFD Extra butter, or something thick that will moisturize your hair following up with a gel styler to give you that shine, bounce and hold.

Gloria Ann I currently am using the Mielle pomegranate and honey twisting soufflé and the Aussie instant freeze gel. I’ll try other products because I really be trying to get my hair to act right and achieve the look you have here.

try fresh curl, curl maker and the almond jai twisting butter by Camille Rose in that order your hair will very moisturized and weigh down just enough to keep them flat. This combo is bomb!

Abstract Autumn2.0 pre part your hair in big sections, then do section for section. also , the more often you twist, the quicker you finish and the neater your twists will be!
