Hi There, How do you get the hot swap plate to work with RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 V-LOCK I/O Expander - mine doesn't seem to fit by a few millimetres

I ran into that same problem… so I could only use the hot swap with a different back or on other v-mount peripherals like lights. Sorry about that.
