Mini wind turbine generator 12" diameter

A tiny 12" diameter wind generator powering 60 LEDs.
The video doesn't really do it justice in daylight - this does completly light a medium sized garden up with its volume of light.

Great project and nice write-up on your site. I would be interested in seeing more about how you charged the (3) AAA batteries (as mentioned on your site). Questions came to mind, like did you have a charge controller or did you keep a watchful eye on the batteries to know when to unplug them? Thanks for sharing.

I have recently buit one of these, and right now im struggling with how to make the turbine rotate without interfering with the magnet. Can anyone help me???

I am guessing there is a metal bit somewhere that is messing up the magnet... If so, get non-magnetic bolts and screws.
