Dr Penny time! Woo, I'm finally relevant. It's probably median nerve given the distribution, like carpal tunnel if your wrist is irritated. Can test by tapping on the inside of the wrist, or flexing the wrist for 30 seconds, and seeing if it makes the fingers feel worse. You could try splinting it at night and see if that helps, but can take about 6 weeks. May have irritated the nerve further up the arm though! Sure it'll be fine xoxo

Miniac, never listen to the doctors on the internet. Everybody know that if your wrist is in pain, you're gonna die! Dr.Google said me so. (Sorry dr.penny! I could not miss this chance!) XD

Splinting and a NSAIDs definitely help with it! Story time with a random stranger on the interwebs, because I'm still dealing with a similar issue caused by painting. It's been 2 weeks since I went for a 50 hour paint session over the course of 3 days to paint Russ. Workplace doctor diagnosed tendonitis and prescribed NSAIDs last week, told to get rechecked by a orthopedist for CTS if it persisted for more than 2 weeks. Also been told not to work during that time (I'm a Design Engineer), which sadly is not a possibility. -Scott, if you read this, know that you're insane for doing that without sleeping, and please get that hand checked. Those minis won't paint and the videos will not edit themselves! Adries van der Wiljk, thanks for reminding me those existed, I need to go and find mine now. =)

Guy painted an incredible amount of models to a great tabletop standard. Brent painted almost as many and then gave them all away for a charity auction. Scott only painted a few, but they looked incredible and what kind of absolute beast do you have to be to paint minis for 38 hours?! I think they all won in their own ways.

Okay, I love this video for so many reasons. A big reason is for people to see how much time it can take to paint minis. There are a lot of non-painters that think we can paint minis is no time, or just use an airbrush and all is quick and easy. Well done Miniac!
@Winterydee

Finally finished watching all 3 videos and here is my opinion. I will say the following for all 3 of you... Best cause for painting their Army - Brent of Goobertown Hobbies for painting all the rank & file troops of a Blood Angel's army for a charity raffle fund raiser to support cancer research. Best overall painting of a single unit in the army - Scott of Miniac. But when you spend 24 hours, or more, painting a single unit in a ARMY painting challenge it should be the one winning this award. Winner - Guy of MWM. Painted the most minis in the shortest amount of time to above tabletop ready standards. Also he was still able to walk and play with his dog twice while doing so, such a good fur baby father he is!

I watched all three videos and literally all three of you got a win. Guy painted the most minis to a table top standard in the least amount of time. Brent set a decent standard on a worthy cause and still produced a cohesive squad. You knocked out a single unit and demonstrated how true detail knows no time limit and worked the phenomenal hours. Kudos to you all and congrats to you on stamina

As the only person who is insane enough a layer and edge highlight a Tyranid horde with a bright white skin tone, black carapaces and hates to make a single error on a Termagant - I feel in like I'm in great company here! Morale of the story - never compare your progress with others - set yourself your own goals and if you enjoy the way you paint your minis and the final outcome - it's all good :-) Congrats on the cavalry unit - looks ace!
