​@@brucebird133for what I've seen, the build quality isn't really there either, I think it depends who you get it from but really you can get an overpriced pos if you don't look for hours on the internet

True. These are designed to be low production(ish) volume RC or display engines though, so generally end up being way more expensive. If you wanna teach someone how an engine works though you can get larger engines for lawnmowers or weed whackers, both 2t and 4t for a lot less. My recommendation though would be get a project car to work on with them. That'll let you show them the workings of the entire driveline as well as teaching them how to maintain and repair things when they go wrong... I know I'd have loved something like that as a kid!

It's obviously a lie. That engine was horribly imbalanced shaking at low rpm and couldn't even idle. At 13k it would explode.

​@@Inimbriumit is mainly due to carb issues, 6 cylinder engines are very balanced no matter which rpm, usually they don't rev very high because of a lot of moving parts, and more than enough power at low rpm

13 k also says a lot about size. With a stroke of maybe 1 inch, The pistons aren't even moving as fast as in a normal car. So all the forces are lower.
