You don't have to scare them back. Just teach them with out fear. Thank you for posting

I think it depends on how much pressure u need to use. Some training was obviously not in videos. Maybe he she tried gentle pressure at first and had to build up but maybe not🤷🏼♀️

I love y’all’s methods for training ponies. Can you show us how adults properly start pony’s for small children? . I don’t see many videos about it out there. And any that are out there are abusive. I know to use sand bags but I think there should be a good educational video on it. 🥰❤️ I love your videos and your training methods! 💯

Minis are any different than large horses. They all speak the same language, just are different size. That’s important to remember! Clint Anderson is a wonder resource!

Just finding you guys now (looks like these two video were recorded a while back. ) These were very encouraging and informative. I have a 6 year old mini that I am trying to train for saddle for my two very young grandchildren. Hazel is very skittish and it seems like nothing is helping. Any suggestions?

She does very good but needs more explanation why and what she is doing. Ex. Was she and Why is she looking at back end (changing direction), why does she keep keep whip on his back. Explain more about how she was teaching him to back up (pressure). But she has done a great job with the little stud! Very impressed!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Lots and lots of time, work, and patience. The most important thing is to focus on small victories and to be consistent.

I was gonna ask can a 9 year old ride I little horse like this?
@lifebyhannah3923 жыл бұрын
Depending on weight, they can, but will outgrow them soon, and then will only be able to cart ride. A halflinger would be a much better breed, but never get a horse unless you are able to do ground work.

If the people who own him don’t know how to handle him they have no business having a stallion it’s a recipe for disaster.

Oh my goodness please watch the Steve Young Horsemanship videos. All owners don’t want a horse only whip and fear responsive. Please watch as owners forget this training video. She is correct in all the goals she wants to accomplish but she must get him to respect her space and trust as a leader not a bigger thing with a whip. Please watch .
