Кристина Суханова that is not nice to say. If you don't know by now there is this saying that I think will suite you perfectly....:" If you not have anything nice to say, then DON'T say nothing at all!!!!". She is amazing also she has a soothing voice not even to mention her videos are what you call "ASMR" vieos or content. I think you should see it for what is giving, teaching ,or even showing you, and not for what your expectations are.

Even though I don't really like using wood for miniatures - 1) I don't have a lot of it, and 2) You need extra tools to work with it - I really like the projects you make for dollhouses. I do have some of the thin craft sticks and I know there are some projects that will just look and function better if you use wood - so I am going to learn to work with wood. I love the easy things you make. Now I want a mitre saw thing - I like that it has the different angles. I'll have to get one or some such tool good for cutting wood besides just plain scissors. I enjoyed this - I don't have a loft bed for my dollhouse but I love watching how simple, easy, and professional your finished items are.
@TheSquaretoSpare8 жыл бұрын
Aww thank you so much. That means a lot to me :) I totally get where you're coming from. I used to use only chipboard and cardboard for my builds because I didn't want to get all the extra tools needed for wood. In fact, I built a whole Simpsons replica house from cardboard/paper (and some polymer clay). But honestly, now that I've begun working with wood, I could never go back. The strength is unbeatable. And the fact that I can use just my craft knife and that little miter saw for 99% of my wood projects makes everything even better :). I also try to use craft sticks often because I know most people can find them easily in their local shops. Again, thank you so much!!!
@TodaysSpecialMinis8 жыл бұрын
no problem - you are so awesome and creative. hmmm - now you are making me think about my stance on wood. i can see your point about everything being sturdier. i actually went and bought a pack of Popsicle sticks fro the dollar store yesterday - so now i have craft sticks and popsicle sticks to play with for now. i'll see what i can make with those. thanks for the encouragement to give it more of a go! maybe i'll create something to your standard!
@TheSquaretoSpare8 жыл бұрын
Yayyy! I'm glad you got some! There countless things you can do with them ^-^ I wish I was doing 1:6 scale for your sake but even these 1:12 minis are taking up all my storage space lol
@TodaysSpecialMinis8 жыл бұрын
ha! OMG - I work in 12th scale. I don't have the space either to do barbie or american girl scale! I, myself, have minis in storage boxes and bags everywhere waiting for me to create a dollhouse to put them in. They aren't anything great - just stuff made with paper, tape, glue - but there's a lot. Toilet paper, napkins, magazines, books, groceries - all waiting for their new home. I'd have to rent storage if the scale were any bigger. I'd love to do barbie scale, but I'll have to wait until I have a house or something with a garage for all that!

I want to make this in 1:6 scale, is it possible with the same materials or should I get thicker square dowels and use only popsicle sticks and those really thick popsicle sticks? Thanks
@TheSquaretoSpare8 жыл бұрын
You could use the same materials but the scale might be a little off. For example, the pieces might look too thin on a 1:6 scale bed. It would work though if you're okay with that :)
@AFarmerCalledChicken8 жыл бұрын
YeeMoon Xxi if you glue two of them together you can get a nice thickness. That's what I do when I make anything to 1:6 scale
