Miniature Midway! Erie County Fair Celebrates The Strates Shows! 2024

The Dream Midway! The Erie County Fair's Museum, located inside the historic 1885 Octagon Building on the Avenue of Flags, features an epic model midway in miniature. The special exhibit, that took two years to plan and orchestrate, celebrates the 100-year partnership between the Erie County Agricultural Society and the James E. Strates Shows. Past and present rides are displayed alongside scale models of the Strates Shows Carnival Train through the years. This is collaborative effort between "CNY Chris," Jay Wilcox, William Pfeifer, Adam Kowalik, Strates Shows, and The Erie County Fair.
