Hi there..! The steam locomotives have been a charm to me since my childhood! I still cherish the vague memories of my rail journeys with the steam locomotives in my heart. The rail road was introduced to our country way back in 1853. It has brought prosperity and created numerous opportunities in the country, afterwards. Then I have witnessed the sad event of rolling back of the steam locomotives during 1990s, when I was in secondary school. I miss them today also. I want my those days back, in a different way, the way you've revived its glory through miniature creations of those classic steam locomotives. Would you help me out to build such a magnificent railway network at my place?

WOW!!! Hi from Mr. Steven Edward SOLWAY, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, U.S.A, President of The Green Bay Live Steamers Union, (GBLSU). I have known about the Name of "SOLWAY" as used by Railways for nearly 35 years while researching my familys' geneology, for there is also the Solway Junction Railway on the Western Edge of the UK betwixt England and Scotland over the waters of Solway Firth that carried hematite iron ore until the 1920s?????, near the Hadrians' Wall. Plus the Class 158 DMU like the Solway "Express//Coast//Flyer", and a few years ago a class 47 Diesel called Solway Princess. Plus also, the S. SHARKS ice hockey team, plus the S. Harvester fishing trawler. WOW!!! Plus still on the lookout for even more names. Quote: C.D.: GOD Bless us everyone". T.T.: A Christmas Tale.

Hey...you're welcome Tod. Appreciate the feedback. Was nice to do something non-RC for a change but equally compelling. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

I remember riding these as a kid. Semi-bad memories because it was with my child minder who I hated, but the trains themselves made up for it.

Such a great little locomotive. Would love to build something like this, but copper for boiler making is very expensive and then you need big 3 phase lathes and milling machines for the valves, cylinders etc. I have the knowledge but thats all.

How much does the model weigh? (minus the carriage) that’s a lot of torque! Surprisingly the wheels don’t slip… must me a bit of weight up front! Awesome!

I really think about to buy that cam. But maybe, the DVX200 is much better, hard to say without testing it
@EssentialRC7 жыл бұрын
For 'run and gun' as they say then the UX180 is the thing to get but if you have time to setup your shots and want to capture in Vlog then DVX200 may be better.
