@@daoudibachir5784 he has a bunch of blueprints that he got online and also from meeting with other builders at events. His garage is set up with a couple lathes, a drill press, and some other machining tools and he uses the machines to make most of the parts using the blueprints. Tolerances are sometimes down to ten thousandths of inches. Very cool, but very involved process. He has worked as an electrical engineer for more than 30 years, so he’s used to the attention to detail that’s required, but he’s had to learn a lot of machining techniques by trial and error. I could never do it, but I’ve enjoyed following his build.

NO!!!!! THIS TRACK IS 5 " INCH GUAGE, AND IT IS RAISED UP ON SUPPORT BEAMS, AND THIS IS 1:11TH SCALE. But used mostly in Britain 🇬🇧 , Europe countries, 🇪🇺, South Africa 🇿🇦, Australia 🇦🇺, Japan 🇯🇵, and other countries. Yet in America it is Mathematically correct 1:12th scale with 4&3/4" guage track. Then also larger steamers in Guage 7 are really different. TRUE SCALE TRACK IS 7&1/16" GUAGE!!!!! But Britain 🇬🇧 and others used 7 & 1/4" since the 1930s.....But America 🇺🇸 uses Wider 7 & 1/2" guage since 1950s, and this 7.5" can also be changed for narrow guages like 3' with 2&1/2" scale. or 2' like 3&3/4" scale. Or 30" n.g. like at Sugar cane plantations with 3" scale. Happily, they all work together ❤ & ☮, Love and Peace ✌ Forever, ok!!!!! HI in June 2023A.D.!!!!!
