My ex-girlfriend had a small lego house (nicely made out of all red bricks) on her mantlepiece, which had been super-glued together and presented to her as a present by a previous (German) boyfriend 😒🙄 I can only surmise that either he didn't fully understand the concept of Lego, or he simply wanted to ensure that all of his creations would 'last for a thousand years!' 😂

Another thing you can use them for: Practicing your edge highlights! Whenever you're priming a bunch of models, just also prime a few pieces of sprue, the weirder shape the better, and just go absolutely crazy with edge highlights! If you mess up nothing was wasted but a little bit of paint!

These are great, but you really don't want to leave your paint pots open like that, it dries them out faster. Open em', get the paint you need onto your palette, then close it until you next need it :) Even better if you use a wet palette. Those bottles and candles are great!

I used sprues to make a roll cage recently, including using heat to add in bends to the sprue. I also use sprue bits as a filler for big areas that need greenstuff. Just glue in sprue bits and add greenstuff on top for detail, saves a bit of money.

I like the use of them for a paint bottle holder I'm gonna have to make some to hold my Testors model paint bottles since I prefer to use them over the Citadel paints. And I like the idea of making your candles and bases using leftover sprues. There have been times when my minis were on a molded base and they werent big enough for the figure was to top heavy and would keep falling over and would need a bigger base to support the weight and making my own bases would come in handy when I needed one thanks

For the cage thing: Use a magnet to hold the cage in place so you can drop it. Or, since you already used lego pieces: use one of those lego whinches and drill a few holes so you can actually raise/lower it. Although you'd probably habe to make the holding part of the construction a bit sturdier or use a bigger base....

They are Perfect for Minecart Tracks! only clean it white a knife and place 2 beside each other you can make curves to. when there is a big gab on the Tracks you can cover it with Terrain Effect or a Clue sand mix so it will looks like thick dust on the Tracks.
