MINIATURES for Dollhouse ~ 'GLASS & SILVER' ~

Materials Listed Below: I wanted to Make Some Fancy Carafes and Pitchers for My Dollhouse. They Were Pretty Easy to Make but a Bit Fiddly Because of The Size. Hope You Enjoy This Tutorial!
Reusable Hard Plastic Drinking Straws: Outer Diameter Approximately 8 mm inner Diameter 6 mm
Faceted Glass Crystal Beads 10 mm
Silver colored Jewelry Tubes
Double Sided Bead Caps
Metal Bead Caps and Beads
Large Sequin, Card or Plastic for Base
Craft / Jewelry Wire 15 Gauge 1.5 mm (Or Any Preferred Wire)
Glue 'n' Glaze Glue and / or Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue (Optional: Superglue for Gluing Handles)
Pebeo Cerne Relief Transparent Relief Outliner (Dries Clear)
Chrome Marker Paint Pen
Optional: Ranger Glossy Accents Clear Dimensional Medium (This Adds More Thickness)
Round Nose Pliers and / or Wire Bending Pliers
Optional: Flat Nose Pliers and Precision Tweezers
Ball Stylus Dotting / Sculpting Tools
Sandpaper
Paintbrush
Hot Glue Gun

The tubing I use is regular Reusable Hard Plastic Drinking Straws. The outer diameter of the tubing is about 8 mm and the inner diameter is 6 mm. Hope this is helpful💕

Thank you so much💕🤗🥰I wanted to widen the straw and tried a lighter but that was a disaster lol! it just melted. Then I thought of the heat gun. Can't believe it actually worked! I did then try other tubing but they didn't work so must be a certain type of plastic it works with. This was so much fun but fiddly 😂

You really took this technique to the next level. I used it for my gas light fixtures..but now I have a few more ideas after watching your lovely creations. Thank you very much!🥰I have to go and watch your video now💕💕 I saw this technique a long time ago when someone used it for crafting to shape plastic. Can't remember what type of plastic they used. I was surprised it worked on the plastic straw. I tried a lighter first but it melted 😂 I will have to experiment what else I can use the heat gun nozzle for 😊🤔

@tinycraftlife yes, years ago, I learned this technique from another youtube crafter as well. I like the little metal tubes you are using. I use metal shapes by K&S. I found them super cheap at a local hobby store. But they are way more expensive online. 😊

Трубка, которую я использую, - это обычная многоразовая жесткая пластиковая питьевая трубочка. Внешний диаметр трубки около 8 мм, внутренний диаметр 6 мм. Все материалы у меня есть в поле описания, но, к сожалению, они все на английском языке. Надеюсь, это будет полезно.

I tried to use my glue gun to reshape some plastic tubing like what is used in an aquarium, but maybe my glue gun doesn't get hot enough or the tubing was too thick because it wouldn't hold the shape. I wasn't trying to do anything half this clever or beautiful! I'm going to have to figure out something; these are gorgeous.
