Took out restrictions. Went like a bat out of hell. Meat loaf,. I’m old . Good artist…Cost me over £1000 . Sold it to a guy who cleared out my garage for £ 200. Before COVID . It makes me feel sad now I see your builds . You have inspired me to make another. F-ck what the wife thinks. My son only likes PlayStation. . Thanks for giving me my life back .

Wow nice build! Very fast and clean! I have a question for you. May I ask what specs are in your motor. I’m currently building a drag bike and went 60 mph with a 55 tooth sprocket with a 18 inch tall tire and a torque converter. I just changed it for a 70 tooth sprocket for 330 foot drags. The motor is mild but built extremely well with lots of precision. Everything is measured and clearanced to spec. But I’m at a point where I’m running out of motor on the top end. It has stock length billet rod. Stock crank. Flat top piston. 265 hot cam. Stock valve train except valve springs. Custom ported head. Stock valve size and all. And 24mm nibbi carb. The motor is very mild. I’m assuming with the stock valve size and camshaft size I have extreme bottom end and I get out on everybody by a bike length or 2 but catch me. Your motor seems to be built well no break ups through the curve. So my question would be is what specs would you recommend. I have a good chunk of money saved so I’m willing to spend. Thanks for reading through all this and great video.
@Black663 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Your bike sounds pretty sweet! This one too is a mild build. It's like yours with the stock valves but it's running a 14cc chamber GX160 head with mild port work, a .012 thick head gasket with 1.2 ratio Rev rockers and 26 lb springs. I don't know if this head flows as well as a stock head even with the port work but with this mild build, the compression bump made this thing really snappy. It pulls pretty hard for what it is. I would like to try out one of Pauls's Karts GX 14 cc heads with his cam and carb. His TRINITY package. I think that would wake up our bikes lol This one had the same cam you are running, the 265, but in this video, I changed it out for an even smaller 252 rattlesnake cam with the 1.2 ratio rockers just to try it out. It has a.020 ARC billet rod and an ARC billet flywheel. a Mikuni vm22 26MM carb with a header pipe. Nothing special at all. But I guess it's all about the combo.
@guschiggins83353 жыл бұрын
@@Black66 thank you for reading my long paragraph and the quick response! I was looking into getting the trinity package. Seems like a sweet deal and I might wait for it to go on sale. Hey brother, unrelated question but where can I find one of those shinny chrome blower housing I’ve seen on your bike? I ordered one from Omb warehouse but it looks like the chrome spray paint not actual chrome. You the man by the way!!! Thx in advance

I think Studz racing has an actual chome plated version. Or you can do like I did and just have one plated at a plating shop.

Creepy stuff. I ran the 72 on my railroad go kart, and I loved the launch and throttle response. But at normal operating speed the resonant vibrations would envelope the entire machine and it's occupants. Any vibrations felt the same as other set-ups, but the increased RPM would cause the vibes to resonate together into a kind of harmony that made people fell ill and very creepy like vertigo. I had several people test it and they all said they could feel it at the same speed. They said they could not feel any serious vibrations, but certain RPM / operating speed made them feel ill and disoriented. WTF ?

Tha is weird. Maybe you can use rubber mounts. They have them on Amazon. Have you checked out the 72 MPH video? kzbin.info/www/bejne/roebmmhvlqyIl9E

what's the frame you used on this bike? I love how open it leaves the center for anything you wanna upgrade.

I like it! How does it feel to be on that thing at 70mph with no suspension?

As long as the road is smooth is ok, but one little bump feels pretty scary to me lol

It was still gaining speed you let off to soon. Make the turn then floor it. Keep your speed going

Ya, I think you are right. It was still pulling. I'll try it again later
