Also, called a 3 loop noose, utilized for traps, nonformal hangings, ship and tactical to climb rigging. Useful indeed 😂

Very good blunt video! That’s exactly what I prefer. Maybe it might have been worth mentioning that 1 less loop is the fisherman’s knot too. :) I’m trying to decide on which knot styles to go with for finishing off some minimal leather lady necklaces, more of the choker style. I’m thinking I’ll need to go with a Knot and loop style closure. Like barrel knot, and a basic knot maybe? No one seems to have posted a video with a preference for this particular finish.

A barrel knot for the loop and an overhand knot for the ball?
@jaquirox65792 жыл бұрын
@@GetKnottedParacord Last night I made 3 different ones. And all look clean, and function well! I did a sliding knot on the loop ends, and then did different knots on the end for the bulky knot, to put through the loop. Side note, I think I have invented a new knot! 😂 it looks like a metal bar would. Like a T formation. And it’s holding up!

Thanks a lot mate! Hearing your voice, I can't help but being reminded of the hamster in "Creature Comforts." 😅Has anyone else ever told you that? I mean it in the nicest way possible, I love that show, and that "character" (these are all real-life people, in case you're unfamiliar with the show) is one of my favorites. 😁

@@GetKnottedParacord Oh dear, my original comment appears to have exposed me TWICE for the fraud I am! First, I'm only a casual viewer of Creature Comforts (maybe with a good audio-visual memory though...?). Hence there was no chance I could have gotten that reference. Try me on the Simpsons though, and I'll likely won't let you down. And second, as a non-Brit, I honestly had NO idea what a kipper was 😅 In any case, thanks for the friendly exchange!

Where's the best place online to buy paracord at a good price that delivers to Australia. Preferably a pack with multiple neutral colours? Looked on eBay and got quite overwhelmed. I have issues with mental cognition so I'm looking for a one stop shop that I can make one order from.
